Brooklyn Museum
The central garment in this show was the newest invention - the MuuMuu Slider, in the form of retrospective. In the summer of 2019 with design intern Lou Croft Blake, they built a mosaic of precious scraps from previous collections - natural dyes & original photographic prints. This garment became a layered evolution, potentially the most transformable garment yet. In the runway show produced by Dapper Q in Sept. 2019 at the Brooklyn Museum, this garment was shared between nine models, who each placed it on the next in a new configuration. Their base layer looks are classic Tillium pieces in a cosmic fiber de-colorant. Look closely as they all come out for the final walk having transformed that outfit too.
