Mix Hive

In 2014, we were commissioned to make a collection for the production team of the Mix Queer Experimental Film Festival. 12 looks turned into 18, then into 24 looks in total. This marked our first time going to Materials for the Arts, and from that moment, we had 3 weeks to make everything. Every friend and loved one that came to the house got put to work! As we made custom outfits for each person - many of whom we had never met! This life-changing event brought us into a community that still feels like home today. Film by Atticus Media Productions.
